I think they are ready for soccer, don't you? Notice the soccer socks (even Tessie) and Tessa's lilttle goalie dance!

On your marks, get set....go!
We had a great Valentine's Day as a family! I picked up some red heart mylar balloons and decorated the house for the kids, made heart cupcakes, made little goodie bags. We had heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, heart shaped pizza for dinner (lovingly made by Dan).
However, the highlight of the evening was the balloon races:

And so the story goes...
Here is the picture that goes with the story:
and the story goes something like this...
Jason spilled his milk at lunch today (Sunday). Dan and I jumped up to clean it up, and somehow, Andrew fell off his chair (wiggly butt) and face planted on our kitchen floor, Dan reached over to pick him up and knocked his own glass of milk over. Everyone started crying when they saw Andrew bleeding....
A trip to the ER, an almost 3 hour wait, and six stitches later, Andrew is as good as new. He never cried once and had all the hospital staff in stitches (no pun intended) with how silly and fun, and HAPPY he was being!

My graceful daughter
So, it seems as though my only daughter has inherited my gracefullness (insert sarcasm here).
While playing Duck Duck Goose last night, she got "goosed", got up to run, slipped on our hardwood floor, smacked her face, and here is the result:
It's hard not to look at her and laugh. Her upper lip is probably twice it's normal size. It could have been worse, so I am thankful.
The really funny part? Every time she goes into the bathroom, she starts crying because she can see her fat lip (oh, the vanity in this child already! LOL).
